The product is made from corn-starch derived 100% biodegradable and compostable bioplastic materials. Under controlled conditions the material gets degraded within 180 days leaving no toxic residues or microplastics. The material is tested for biodegradation and compostability by CIPET and certified as compostable by CPCB (IS/ISO 17088). The product has high strength, so the weight bearing capacity is comparable to petroleum derived plastics. The bags are water-resistant and leak-proof and hence can handle both dry waste and wet waste. The bags well suited to handle waste generated at offices, households, parties, hospitality and transport sectors.
